Madam Theodora Efua Abokoma Abaka
1950 — 2026
“She was the kind of woman who made every room brighter simply by being in it — a mother, a teacher, a friend, and a pillar of faith.”
Madam Theodora Efua Abokoma Abaka was born in the early 1950s in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. From her earliest years, she carried herself with a grace and warmth that would become the hallmark of her character — a quality that touched every life she encountered over her eight remarkable decades on earth.
A devoted Christian and faithful member of St. Paul Methodist Cathedral, her faith was not merely a Sunday practice but the very foundation upon which she built her life. She raised her family with the conviction that love, integrity, and service to others are the truest measures of a life well spent.
Madam Abaka was known across her community as a woman of extraordinary generosity. Whether it was a word of counsel, a shared meal, or a steady hand in a moment of hardship, she gave freely and without expectation of return. Her laughter was infectious, her wisdom quiet but profound, and her presence — an irreplaceable comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a community of friends and loved ones whose lives she shaped profoundly. Her memory is a blessing; her legacy, eternal.
